After my arrival in England on 20th of May 2002, I found a job as bicycle mechanic the following morning, when I was just about to buy some newspapers. Well, I popped into Richond Cycles, where some vacancies were announced and the next day I was a bicycle mechanic:). Without a room to stay, I came with all my luggage to work ...

In England it is harder to find a room than a job ... 450,- GBP / month for a room was not what I expected ...

Well, to have a bit of money aside, I also worked at the Sunn Inn (nice place), but working 7 days a week didn't keep me for long.

... the same on a day of (almost) sunshine.
